Alayna joined the New Insights team in the beginning of 2010. Her career includes 10 years of experience in the human services field. She began her career as an addictions therapist for adolescents after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh. In December of 2010 she graduated with her Masters of Arts in Sociology with a specialization in persons with disabilities from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She has provided counseling services to adolescents and adults in individual and family counseling. She has worked in the inpatient, outpatient, and medication monitored settings. She has experience facilitating group with clients and with families of the clients. She has training experience with relapse prevention, family counseling, group counseling, intervention, and couples counseling. |
